I love it when you jiggle jiggle! If you are looking for a party showstopper, here you go! This Sparkling Charm from Sparkling Charm made its debut in June of 2018 and went viral. Festive! Fun! Your guests will love them!
Spray a loaf pan with a mild nonstick cooking spray. Wipe away excess with a paper towel. Set aside.
Next, in a medium saucepan, add the chilled simple syrup and lemon juice. Sprinkle in the gelatin packets and allow them to bloom for 2 minutes. Turn on the heat and whisk until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the chilled champagne and the vodka. Pour into the prepared loaf pan and place in the refrigerator to fully set.
Flip the Champagne Jello Sparkle Shots onto a parchment paper-lined cutting board and cut into small squares or cut with a star shaped cookie cutter. (See serving ideas above.)
Garnish with the star sprinkles, or with the edible gold leaf.
Notes
ALCOHOL FREE MOCKTAIL: Make a separate batch for kids and your non-drinking guests so that can join in the fun. Simply substitute the champagne with ginger ale or sparkling cider and the vodka/gin with white grape juice.
EDIBLE GOLD LEAf: This is pretty but can be tricky to decorate food with. It stick to fingers! Use a paint brush dedicated to food. Carefully lift the corners of the edible gold leaf with the paint brush and place it where you want it.
MAKE AHEAD/STORAGE: If you are making these pre-party, you can store them in the loaf pan for 24 hours prior to the party in an airtight container. Place a piece of plastic wrap on top of the jello before sealing with an airtight lid. Cut them 2 hours prior. Sprinkle just before serving. Jello cannot sit at room temperature.
SERVING: As noted above, jello cannot sit at room temperature. These must be served directly from the refrigerator.
