Cranberry Pecan Sausage Balls

These tasty bites of deliciousness are perfect for the holidays. Dip them in cranberry sauce for an extra wow! PS Great for tailgating!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pork sausage uncooked
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups flour all purpose
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 3/4 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven 350°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until completely mixed. (Using clean hands works best.) Scoop and roll into balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Dip these in cranberry sauce for an extra wow! 
How Do You Store Sausage Balls?
Store sausage balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for three or four days. You can also freeze sausage balls in the freezer for 3 months. Simply reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds or in the oven at 350°F. until warmed through center.
