Hydrangeas, Plums, Pumpkins, Green Apples & Copper: Fall Decor
Hydrangeas, Plums, Pumpkins, Green Apples & Copper: Fall Decor
Yesterday, that warm fall feeling became me when a dear friend of ours stopped by with a truck bed filled with cornstalks and a bag of sweet corn for us to enjoy. I in turn shared a jar of my Refrigerator Spicy Dill Pickles and a freshly sealed jar of Sparkling Charm Cherry Jam.
Last year I added plums and greens to my autumn color scheme, drawing my inspiration from succulents. This year I am keeping the scheme but adding touches of copper and tans. I hope you will find inspiration here today to get this season of thankfulness blessings started for you and those dear to you.
Speaking of thankfulness, I am having so much fun with this blog. THANK YOU FOR VISITING TODAY!

We have three beautiful Hydrangeas surrounding our home. This year I tucked the blooms into our fall tree. They add subtle hints of purples and greens. The hawk feathers were picked up along the banks of the Flint River in Georgia. My father loved to take long walks in the woods. He bundled these together for me with twine.
In our dining room I added copper candles, cups, and a hammered copper pitcher I picked up at TJ Max.
On our Autumn Bar Cart, I made a stick mat for the base of the tray by cutting a stick runner I found at Hobby Lobby. …And of course I added copper Moscow Mule Mugs and mini copper pumpkin candles that I found at Home Goods.
Below is the Sparkling Charm Pine Cone Flower Wreath that appeared on Sparkling Charm last week. I hung it on the mirror with a suction hanger.
…Another touch of copper using a small cake stand to hold this cute little squirrel and more Hydrangea blooms.
